Today we are excited to post a full set from the mighty NOOTHGRUSH! Back then, bands were getting faster and faster, especially as “powerviolence” became more popular, but Noothgrush was one of just a few bands that went the opposite route that played slow and got slower. Sadly, they broke up a few years before it became pretty hip to play slow music. I always keep my fingers crossed for a reunion now that there is an audience for this style. Come on, Noothgrush, make it happen!!!! They broke up just after I moved here, and I never got to see them, and I’d really, really be stoked if they ever do a show. They do have some new releases coming out this year, various live sets, demos, and unreleased songs will be released on a few different CDs on a few different labels. We’ll post more info about those when we know more. With all this new Noothgrush (New-thgrush?), it does seem like a good time to at least do a show (or a few shows). Well, let’s ALL get high as fuck, and cross our fingers while we watch this video. Turn it up, get baked!

When you say forthcoming material on CD by SL.
Does this mean that all forthcoming material will get a CD release?
I’m not sure when the SL cd will be out but only that release will be in cd format. The other 3 are all on vinyl.
Thanks for posting this Dan! We’ve never seen this until now. The new releases out soon in order (hopefully) are:
reissue of Erode the Person 12″ on Parasitic Records
first demo 12″ on Fuck Yoga Records
3 Sides Live double 12″ of KFJC & KZSU live mic with 1 side of unreleases studio recorded covers including a Duran Duran cover and Grief cover on Choking Hazard Records
and the same as above on cd on Southern Lord Records.
Thanks for all of the support!
