Here is the SECOND video from my visit with SKELETONWITCH as they recorded their new album “Breathing The Fire” with Jack Endino in Seattle earlier this year. The recording process started with the drums being laid down first at Studio Litho, so sit down and spend a little time with Mr. Mullet Chad.
Back again with more videos! We are still posting videos from the DVDs we have available for trade HERE, trying to preserve these kick ass performances in the best possible quality.
Keeping on with the process of loading on samples from DVDs available for trade, today’s post is songs from three Clutch DVDs. Smoke a big one and rock the fuck out!
Earlier this summer I was invited up to Seattle to document the recording of Skeletonwitch’s new album, “Breathing The Fire”. They were recording with Jack Endino, making this my third time working with him. Jack is great, and the band are a fun bunch of guys, so hopefully I manage to catch some of that and have it come across in these videos.
The new album comes out on Prosthetic Records on October 13th, so be sure to go and pick it up! Support your local record stores!
Here’s a few more sample videos I uploaded to link to the trade list I have posted HERE. If you have videos of bands on my list that I don’t have listed, contact me! I’m also looking for ANYTHING recorded at 924 Gilman St.

Besides promoting current local and touring bands, and uploading full sets from old videos we have lying around, we also like to keep things available for the music collector that likes to have things in the highest quality available. We too collect live music obviously, and of course would rather watch a good video on our tv set than streaming via the internet, and we like it when things are preserved in the best quality possible.
Right now we are going through all of our DVDs, updating the quick list we have HERE, and making sure we have as much info about each show as we can get. All of this will be available online eventually, but for the moment we are also taking samples of most DVDs and linking to them from the list. For the moment the links are sparse as hell, but this is just the beginning, lay off.
So to kick this off, here are the first few videos that were uploaded and linked to the trade list. Dig it!

Oh yeah, today we’re gonna get a little weird and chaotic with some SWING KIDS, a jazzy emo hardcore band from San Diego, California back in the mid 90’s. They didn’t last more than a few years, with a 7″ EP and a 10″ released in that time (available on CD as well). However, they’ve influenced many bands that came after, and many bands rose from the ashes, such as The Locust. I didn’t shoot this video, I got it in a trade many years ago, and I’m not sure if the date and location are correct, but who cares? Shut up and watch the damn thing!
As summer draws to a close, and all the fun dies away with it, what better soundtrack can there be than GRIEF? I love Autumn, everything is dying and Halloween is coming, etc etc, but with along with the decay is the headache of the holiday shopping season, that shit always pisses me off. Anyway, combined all together it means it’s time to put away the fun summer music and get serious and hateful towards humanity. So with all that in mind, I bring you Grief!
This show is the reunion show from 2005’s DOOM & GRIND FEST. It was a great set, they played with two lineups, and I’m glad I few out to catch this because they never did wind up coming out west again before breaking up one final time. So light something up and turn this up LOUD!!!!
