Here is a rad set from HIS HERO IS GONE, one of my favorite bands from the 90′s!  I’ve missed a lot of great bands, but I can at least say I saw these guys twice, and enjoyed every damned minute they played.  Had I lived in the bay area back then, I could have seen them more often.  Here they are at 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley, towards the end of their time.  A year or so later they broke up, and 3/4ths of this band wound up in Portland and started Tragedy, a band I think is also great.  His Hero had more blasting and cool dark grooves from bass player Carl Auge though, so they will always be in my heart as a favorite.  Thanks to this modern digital age we are all able to enjoy this video and performance online, so disregard their call to give up on technology.  Instead, turn up the volume and embrace it further!  Give your computer a hug!  And then mosh the fuck out of it to this video!
