Besides recording tons of bands, I also like to play.  My current band is called CONNOISSEUR, a sort of spoof hardcore / powerviolence band dedicated to my love of Oakland and marijuana.  Normally I’d feel weird posting my own band to my own website, but dammit, if I wasn’t IN this band, I’d be all over this and posting every show I saw.  We recently played a show here Oakland at a spot called The Rec Center, on a Wednesday night, and the turnout was crazy.  We played a sloppy but energetic set, and had a lot of fun this night.  My wife had a little less fun, those of you that know me know I’m going through some medical stuff, and Corin was worried that I would be slammed into and that a pump hooked up to my chest could get ripped out.  Luckily, nothing was ripped out, I survived.  Well, here’s the video.  You should probably smoke a bunch of weed, and get ready to have a one person kung fu moshpit in your bedroom.  Move anything fragile, because our breakdowns will fuck shit up!
