Here’s a great video of SOILENT GREEN, from New Orleans, back when they were a new band on Relapse. The String Of Lies EP and their second full length Sewn Mouth Secrets were pretty hot around this time, those records really showcased the band’s blend of southern fried death metal. Their debut album, Pussysoul, had been a personal favorite of mine and a few songs from that album make it into this set as well. I received this on VHS in a trade, probably soon after this show happened, hats off to however taped this. The video is clear and steady, and the sound is pretty even. If you like Soilent Green, it’s probably a good idea to smoke a lot of weed and watch this right now.
