For a little while there, grind was fun in the bay area. There were a few killer local bands, great bands that came through on tour, and the yearly Speed Trials at 924 Gilman St. One of the best bands locally to spring from this wave of powerviolence worship was IN DISGUST, from San Jose. In Disgust shows were tornados of chaos, things almost always got crazy during their sets, which were already super short. If they would have played longer, whole venues would be turned to dust I bet. Here’s a great set from this band at 924 Gilman Street. Garbage cans get thrown, people get jump kicked, Matt gets annoyed, it’s got everything. All in seven minutes, too. Beautiful. Watch this at full volume!!!
