In February 2006, TRAGEDY came down to the bay area to record their third full length album, Nerve Damage. On pretty short notice they set up two shows to play while in the area, this first one at a warehouse at 2613 San Pablo Avenue in Oakland, and the next day at 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley. This show is pretty dark, and I didn’t have the best spot to tape in. The sound however is decent, for a warehouse show I was surprised to see everything was mic’d and ran through a PA. Their set was full of new songs they’d been recording, some of which didn’t make the cut. “Strike A Nerve” and “Evacuate” haven’t been released as far as I know, so this might be one of the few, and maybe only spots to hear these tunes. So play it loud!
