So I guess this year marks the 20th anniversary of Opiate, the debut EP from TOOL. The band is still at it, having outlasted a lot of their peers, and just as huge as they’ve ever been. They’ve been playing arenas for well over a decade now, but here’s a clip from the days when they were still a young band and playing small bars. This is a pretty common video amongst collectors, from their set at JC Dobbs in Philadelphia. This is probably the best video of this band from this time period. It’s killer to see how tight and great sounding they are without the huge audience, huge sound system, and the huge light show. Get stoned and watch it!
