After DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN released Miss Machine, with their new vocalist Greg Puciato, I sorta stopped paying attention. I wasn’t too keen on some of their clean and melodic stuff. But when they came through and played a daytime show at 12 Galaxies (a venue I liked) with Hella, I figured I’d go and at least check it out. This was the show where I realized that while I may not pay attention to their records, I shouldn’t pass up any chances to see them live. These guys kill it. Some may think it’s just simple jumping around, but whatever, they have way more energy than I can ever muster. I ain’t jumping on shit when I play! I’ve seen them before Greg, and a few times since this show, and I’m always impressed at how entertaining and chaotic they can be. This video is a great example of that. Watch it several times, preferably while high on pot.
