BRAINOIL. BRAINOIL. BRAINOILBRAINOILBRAINOIL. They rule. Sludgy, heavy tunes from three amazingly nice dudes. I was bummed when they weren’t so active for a while there after 2006, but in 2009 they returned to crush again. This was the second show back, opening for Stormcrow and Eyehategod at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. This is a tune that I don’t think has been recorded yet, or if it was, it didn’t make the cut when they released their 2nd LP, Death Of This Dry Season. Perhaps it will appear elsewhere. For now, just get stoned and dig on this song.
