I feel I have been very lucky with how many times I’ve been able to see WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM. My old band played with them in 2004 on their first trip down to the bay area, and both of our bands played to about 15 people. I saw them the next day in Oakland to even fewer. And I’ve probably seen them a dozen times since then. I never get bored seeing this band live, they always brought something new to their set, and plus they are incredible at that volume. If only I had recorded them more often, I feel some of their best sets are going to live on in my memory and that’s it. I did record them a bunch of times though, and here is one of them. This was the last time I saw WITTR, it’s been a while! They were opening for Pelican on this tour, so their set is pretty short, just two songs. Still, it’s amazing, and sounds pretty damn decent I must say. So download this, roll a big joint, and enjoy this at high volumes (no pun intended, I swear).
