There are plenty of blogs that post demos and tapes, but for the occasional old tape I can’t find, or new band I think should be heard by everyone, we started up this section. I figure a good way to start this is to post something of my own to get the ball rolling. This post is about my very first band, A DEATH BETWEEN SEASONS. We started this in the summer of 1997, and to this day, Lyle (drums) and I still play (and we have a new band called Connoisseur). ADBS played our first show in January of 1998. and shortly afterwords got together with Chris Dalcin in the Overdale basement to record this demo. I believe this was a single mic in a room, recorded to four track. Maybe it was two mics. We had the worst PA and thus there is some horrible feedback throughout the whole thing. It’s pretty awesome. We had three vocalists too, so this whole thing sounds like a wild fucking mess. We tried a few more recordings with Chris at Overdale, but this is the one we put out and sold at shows for $1.
A small noisy piece of some Rochester history. And there will be more posted, so check back often!

Saw ADBS in SF many years ago with Benumb. Awesome live show!
Great band! It reminds me of Union Of Uranus and all the Bremen legends!
Could you re upload it, or at least the second track, it can’t be extracted. Thanks up front!
I’ll get that fixed this week, thanks for checkin’ it out!
Sick, thanks a lot Dan. This demo is forever burned in my brain. Hail ADBS.
